The Kit Bag contains images and aspects of day to day life in the LRDG. As this page was getting rather large, it was decided it should be broken into smaller segments. This should aid in loading but will make it more difficult to print as a single file.
Surprisingly, you don't see many shorts worn among the troopers in the field with many wearing the Battle Dress uniform more commonly associated with Europe. The desert was not always hot. Also of note the scruffy appearance. While the men are not clean shaven they also do not possess long, well groomed beards. The head gear of choice seems to be the balaclava.
